Three Arrested After Attack on Roommate

A Lehigh Acres man is recovering from injuries after being attacked by his roommates.

On November 14 at approximately 1:30 a.m., the victim was sleeping in his room at 1305 Farmdale Street in Lehigh Acres when his bedroom door was kicked in.  The victim advised three people stormed into his room, two of whom he identified as his roommates.  One roommate struck the victim in the head with an expandable baton weapon while another took his wallet. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit was notified and assumed the investigation.

A search warrant was secured and evidence seized.  The ensuing investigation led to the three arrests.  Detectives determined that Brian Erwin (DOB 1-19-81) of 1305 Farmdale Street is the person responsible for striking the victim in the head, causing serious injury that required twenty sutures.  Erwin is charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Armed Occupied Burglary.  Also arrested and charged in the incident was Stephanie Lanham (DOB 6-7-80) of the same address.  Lanham is charged with Robbery.  The third person arrested, Gueslly Deravine (DOB 11-30-89) of 32 Westminster Drive, Lehigh Acres, is charged with Burglary with Assault or Battery.
